In 2007, Edward Albee wrote Homelife as a first act for his first play The Zoo Story (1958). He now insists that they are played together as one piece.
Exit Theatre are based in the Healesville in the Yarra Valley their first production for 2013 is the Victorian premiere of At Home at the Zoo.
Exit are keen to create an ongoing professional theatre presence in the Yarra Valley and under the artistic direction of Kristof Kaczmarek are planning seasons of Dostoyewsky, Sartre and Checkov. Kaczmarek founded Theatre Zart in Perth and had performed at Belvoir Street in Sydney and fortyfivedownstairs in Melbourne.
